About:

This game was made for ATUJAM 2024. We had to design and develop a video game in 3 days and the topic was "Time".

"Life Speedrun" is a short first-person video game where a baby's life speeds up due to a magical hourglass in the room falling and shattering to pieces, creating an unstable sand time monster. The baby is forced to grow up, face life's challenges as time flies and defeat the time monster to regain all the time that was lost.

Versions:

First Build - what we originally submitted during the gamejam. Has missing features, bugs and crashes at the end.

Remastered - the newer version with some additions, improvements, bug fixes and no crashes at the end.

Controls:

"WASD" to move, "SPACE" to jump, "LEFT CLICK" to attack.

Gameplay:

The time given is your health (displayed at the top) and the goal is to complete the game before it runs out. There are 4 different levels, each one requiring the player to complete different objectives in order to proceed. The more time you have, the weaker the time monster gets. Regain your lost time by attacking it during the final battle.
